Taking a photo is like sitting and staring an object for a very, very long time. Artistic people do this to seem more artistic. Had digital cameras existed in the myth of Narcissus, he would have taken many pictures of himself, and put them all on Facebook. I’m not altogether sure what Echo would have done. Twitter I guess.

Anyway, here are some objects I stared at today:

A prop used while filming an intro for an episode of The Educated Pour.

Screaming birds interrupted my lunch. When I looked around to see the subject of such disharmony, I saw a hawk gliding above our yard. I grabbed my camera and sprinted off to capture it in pixels. But it left for quieter yards. My toe seemed interesting.
